Fly Over the Tribal Areas of Pakistan

After the Taliban captured Bowe Bergdahl, they took him across the border into Waziristan, part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas in Pakistan, where they handed him over to the Haqqanis, a Taliban-allied group with a stronghold in the area. The Haqqanis kept Bergdahl in various areas in North and South Waziristan, including Wana and Shawal, but Bergdahl probably spent the longest stretches in and around Miram Shah, the capital of North Waziristan. The Durand Line divides Afghanistan and Pakistan. Most countries recognize the colonial-era border; Afghanistan, however, doesn't.
